BUM400A automated biological microscope
BUM400A is a fully motorized upright biological microscope with automated XY stage, autofocus and automatic nosepiece rotation. It can scan 40mm x75mm, i.e. an excellent choice for single or double size glass slide scanning in pathology field. It can be easily upgraded to polarization and epi-fluorescence imaging capability. It has 4x, 10x, 40x and 100x plan obj lenses by default, but it get any type or magnification of lens upon customization such as 1.25x, 2x, 2.5x, 5x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 60x, 80x, 150x plan, plan semi-apo, plan apo lenses.

BUM-PHK Phase Contrast Kit for Upright Biological Microscopes is composed of 10x, 20x, 40x , 60x and 100x (oil) Phase contrast objective lenses, green filter, Phase alignment tool and turret condenser with different annulus.
In this video we look at the samples images of an Onion Skin thins section slide and Tilia (basswood) thin section slide, using this kit installed on Bioimager BUM800FL upright biological microscope and connected a 2.3MP USB3.0 CMOS Colorful Camera as well as a 0.5x C-Mount Adapter.
Video 5. LED Fluorescent Attachment (Optional)
This video demonstrates Bioimager BUM360FLED-A LED Fluorescence attachment to use with a standard upright microscope such as BUM400A. It comes with 5W LED of Violet (V), Ultraviolet (UV), Blue (B) and Green (G) LEDs, and its correspondent excitation and emission filters. The video demonstrates the optics and mechanics as well as sample images at different magnifications.
