BIM250 Compact Inverted Biological Phase-Contrast Microscope with 10x, 25x and 40x Lenses

The BIM250 microscope has the smallest size of an inverted biological microscope with phase contrast in the world. You can easily fit it inside a hood or even an incubator. Adding a camera is a smart idea for live cell imaging. It comes with 10x, 25x and 40x Phase contrast lenses. Phase contrast condenser can have 30mm, 50mm or 72mm working distance. The microscope includes a mechanical XY stage and some optional sample holders.

The BIM250 is equipped with wide field eyepieces, long working distance plan achromatic objective lenses, long working distance condenser, and phase contrast unit. It can observe transparent and unfinished living specimen in cell-culture flasks, micro-plates or Petri-dishes. It is the ideal tools for research on living specimen structure, liquid, deposits and so on, particularly if you need to work in a sterile condition.

The system can be combined with any camera with standard software.

It is highly recommended to choose a camera with image acquisition software which has time-lapse mode. A very popular product in this regard is IncuView SW, a custom software for live cell imaging which also controls the light, i.e. it can turn on /off during the waiting time.
